As I sit here praying and preparing sermons, I am struck with a huge sense of humility.
I am humbled that God has called me to do His work and represent Him here on Earth.
Honestly, if I made a list of people to become Pastors, knowing how I used to be, I would be near the bottom.
But God has a way of changing your heart and removing the stain of sin and guilt about your past.
Now, He has me pastoring a small church in Maxwelton, WV.
Soon, I may not be able to use the word ‘small’ as a descriptor as He is bringing the people.
I was reminiscing on my ministry path which started in Hawaii and has led me to Uganda, Liberia, Israel and West Virginia, among some other states.
I am humbled to walk in the footsteps of great Biblical leaders such as John the Baptist.
I have been blessed to have baptized well over twenty people in several different places.
Lake Victoria in Uganda, Anthony Creek WV, Greenbrier River WV, Pacific Ocean in Hawaii, Baptized my wife in the Jordan in Israel, and even a new believer in a swimming pool, late at night, by flashlight, under armed guard from wild animals in the African Savannah.
I am honored to be used for the things of God and I believe that there is a great worldwide revival coming, that will usher in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God has placed a mantle on my life to share only Biblical truth as He has given, and lead people into the presence of the Lord.
My mission is first, to lead people to the Lord, but also to help people build their faith so they can become strong disciples and share the Gospel, completing the Great Commission.
We walk by faith, not by sight.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
