After God’s appearance to Moses at the burning bush, Moses left his desert home of forty years and returned to the home of his childhood, Egypt. Once there, he reunited with his brother, Aaron, and his sister, Miriam. Because of Moses’s lack of self-confidence, God allowed his brother Aaron to be his mouthpiece to Pharaoh. Together they will approach the Pharaoh to request that God’s people be allowed to go into the desert to worship. So begins a power struggle between the Egyptian Pharaoh and the Israelites’ God. In our current session we will see the culmination of that power struggle.
